STANPHILL - Andrew Crittenton Stanphill, Jr., a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital. Mr. Stanphill was born in Coffeyville, KS, September 7, 1925 the son of Maggie Flora Engler and Andrew C. Stanphill Sr. Mr. Stanphill is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary. They were married in Oswego, KS on October 9, 1946 and moved to New Mexico in 1948. He is also survived by his son, Tony R. Stanphill of Silver Lake, OR; daughters, Sandra Kay McLeod of Elephant Butte, NM and Carol L. Gruber and husband, Robert W. In the late 60's, he was a Freelance Photographer taking pictures for the Albuquerque Little Theater and was the former President of the Albuquerque Camera Club. He was a loving husband, daddy, grandpa, and friend to many and will be greatly missed by all. He fully enjoyed family and friends and was always willing to help others. He was a member of the Netherwood Park Church of Christ. Services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011, 11:00 a.m., at French - Wyoming Chapel with David Nestor officiating.
