Andrew Paul Dishman, 31, Indianapolis, a longtime Martinsville resident, passed from this life unexpectedly at his residence on March 6, 2012.

He was born November 3, 1980 in Beech Grove, IN to Gene B. Dishman and Rhonda K. (Hughes) Fitzpatrick.

Andrew was a Martinsville High School graduate with the Class of 1999. Shortly after high school, Andrew joined the United States Air Force; where he served his country from Dec. 17th, 2002 thru Feb. 10th, 2006.

He was formerly employed as an Aircraft Electronics Specialist, working for the Civil Service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gambling, sports and ultimate fighting; two of his most treasured loves were his mother and his dog, Samson. He was looking forward to attending IUPUI this summer where he would have studied Aeronautical Engineering.

He was an active member of the River of Life Church of God in Camby, IN

He leaves behind his loving family including his mother and step-father, Rhonda K. and Gregory L. Fitzpatrick of Martinsville, half brother, Dennis Dishman, Indianapolis, IN, half sisters, Angela and Alexis "Ali" Fitzpatrick, Bloomington, IN and his maternal grandmother, Nina Hughes, Martinsville, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandfather, Gary Hughes, paternal grandparents, Wendell and Lola Dishman and Jack and Jackie Burleigh and Lec Fitzpatrick.

Friends are invited to visit on Sunday, March 11th, 2012 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center. A celebration of life memorial service, to be officiated by Rev. Jon Quigley, will begin Sunday at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Morgan County Humane Society, 690 W. Mitchell St., Martinsville, IN 46151. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.nealandsummers.com
