Angelo DeSena 92, of North Branford passed away on November 13, 2010 in Ct. Hospice. Husband of Sarah DeGennaro DeSena. Father of Susan (Thomas) Lyden of Guilford and Anthony (Irina Targoni) DeSena of Latham, N.Y.Brother of Mary Zarbo of Maine, Anna Follo of West Haven and the late Philomena DeFilippo, Carl, Joseph and Anthony DeSena. Grandfather of Kathryn (Scott) Heffernan of Phoenix AZ, Mary Lyden of Branford and Thomas Lyden of Guilford. Son of the late Baldasarre and Josephine Marra DeSena. Prior to his retirement in 1983 Angelo worked in the Maintenance Department for Quinnipiac University. Angelo was an Army Veteran who served in WW II as a Sargent in the 9th Air Corp. Division. His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd (Rte 80) East Haven Tuesday morning at 10:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment with Military Honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Memorial Contributions may be made to Ct. Hospice 100 Double Beach Rd.
