Anita Noffsinger Casteel, 68, of Greeley, Colorado, died Sunday, January 19, 2003, at home following a battle with cancer. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 23, 2003, at Allnutt Funeral Service/Macy Chapel. Services will conclude at the Macy Allnutt Funeral Center with a luncheon. Cremation will be completed. Anita was born September 6, 1934, in Greeley, Colorado to Ralph and Flora Noffsinger. She attended Colorado University. On December 26, 1953 she married Robert Lanari, and they were divorced after 27 years of marriage. She worked as an office manager for Wall Street West, a brokerage firm that she and her husband owned. In 1981, she received her securities license and worked as a stockbroker for J. Daniel Bell in Greeley. She worked as office manager for Central Inc. from 1991-2000. On June 23, 1982, she married Rex M. Casteel. She was an active member of Crescent Club for over 30 years. She loved flowers and animals, especially her black lab “Lady”. She spent her retirement years gardening at her family cabin in Estes Park. Her husband, Rex M. Casteel of Greeley, CO, daughters, Loni L. Ferrier and husband Zack of Greeley, CO and Lisa L. Lanari and husband Michael E. Fox of Denver, CO; son, Robert B. Lanari of Canyon City, CO; sister, Connie N. Cowley and husband John of Salt Lake City, UT; grandchildren, Baylor L. Ferrier of Greeley, CO, Ruby and Grace Casteel of Los Angeles, CA; and step-son, Rex M. Casteel, Jr. and wife Angela of Los Angeles, CA survive her. Her parents preceded her in death.
