Anita Gromoll

Pickens – Anita Voss Gromoll, 74, of Pickens and wife of Rudolf Gromoll passed from this life Thursday, September 29, 2011.

Mrs. Gromoll was born in Bremen, Germany, a daughter of the late Franz and Sophie Westermann Voss. She was retired as a clerk with ADEMCO and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Pickens.

Surviving in addition to her husband Rudolf, are son, Ronald Gromoll and wife Gabriele and children Sharon and Samantha of Travelers Rest, SC; son Kevin Gromoll and wife Tamare and children Alexa and Jesse of Pickens, SC; daughter, Carol Osipowich and husband Joseph and children Brian, Paul, and Claire of Holbrook, NY. Also surviving is her brother Walter Voss and wife Karin of Bremen, Germany and sister Sigrid Ellebrecht and husband Horst of Bremen, Germany.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gromoll was preceded in death by a brother Willy Voss.

A memorial service will be conducted 11 AM Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church in Pickens with The Reverend Bob Kasting officiating.
