Ann Carolyn Pearce, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 19, 2012. She is survived by her sister, Jean McDonald of Florida; sister-in-law, Kathi L. Pearce of Bloomfield, NM; nieces Jackye Evans and husband, Gayle of Florida; Jennifer Pearce of Fayetteville, NC and Wendy Chavez and husband, Robert of Ft. Campbell, KY. Ms. Pearce was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ethel Pearce and brother, David Pearce. Ann grew up in Hays, Kansas and enjoyed fishing with her father and looking for rocks. She particularly enjoyed God's earth without the noise and chaos of the city. Ms. Pearce worked as a Proof Operator in California prior to moving to Albuquerque to begin her Civil Service career. Ann was a member of Temple Baptist Church. A service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at 10:00 am at Manzano Del Sol Good Samaritan Center, 5201 Roma Blvd. NE, with Rev. Cullen Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. 700 Yale Blvd. SE.
