Mrs. Ann (Sargent) Koloski, 86 years, formerly of Lynn, died Monday in a local nursing home after a long illness. She is the wife of the late Chester W. Koloski.
She was born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Hudak) Sargent and stepdaughter of the late Philomena (Tischy) Sargent. She was raised in Lynn, attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She was a resident of Lynn all of her life.
She was a former volunteer at Union Hospital for 12 years, an active member of Lynn Senior Center, and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Lynn.
She was employed as an administrator with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Civil Service Division for many years retiring in 1980. She also worked as an assembler for General Electric during WWII.
She is survived by 2 daughters Maryann Roy and her husband Dennis of S. Wallingford VT, and Marcia Boudrow and her husband Larry of Lynn, 1 son: James M. “Jayme” Koloski and his wife Sharon of East Sandwich, 3 Brothers: Charles “Charlie” Sargent of Lynn, Peter Sargent of Lynn, and Edward Sargent of Lynn. 1 sister: Mary Gambale of Swampscott . She also leaves 6 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is the sister of the late Julia Kiley, Steven, Michael John and Emil Sargent .
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30 AM from the Solimine Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home 426 Broadway (Rte 129) Lynn followed by a funeral mass in Sacred Heart Church Lynn at 10:00 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation Period Friday Morning at 8:30AM.
