Ann Marie Carr, 66, of Bettendorf, IA died Friday, January 06, 2012 at her home.
Per her request, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no service. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ann was born on April 7, 1945 to Robert M. and Norma (Newell) Holroyd in Belvidere, IL. She married Ed Carr in 1982. Ann graduated in 1963 from Belvidere High School and then worked as an independent consultant doing graphic design in marketing. She loved life and new experiences – skydiving, climbing, skiing, crafts and craft shows. She was a foster parent, friend and mentor to youth who turned to her. Ann volunteered for many youth mentor groups over the years. Family was her priority.
