Anna Joyce Martin, 78, of Judsonia, died Saturday March 24, 2012 at White County Medical Center. She was born July 19, 1933 in Gassville to the late Nollie and Ida Elizabeth Smith Hayes. She was a Baptist, enjoyed crocheting, and loved looking after her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, David (Rita) Martin and Billy Don (Jamie) Martin; 5 grandchildren, Rebecca (Jason) Johnson, Dana (Josh) Stewart, Amber (Dent) Martin, Brandon Martin, and Rasha Martin; 2 great-grandchildren, Madalyn Johnson and Jewel Stewart; a brother, Lonnie (Phyllis) Hayes; a sister, Belva Sue (Bill) Shumate.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, W.D. "Bill" Martin, and a sister, Nettie Lou Lueck.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob. Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Scotty Burrow and Bro. James Hays officiating. Interment will follow in Roosevelt Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfunerahome.net
