Anna M. Kervin, 91, of Springfield, passed away at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2001 at St. Joseph's Home. She was born October 9, 1909 the daughter of William and Louisa Kerin Kervin in Springfield. Ms. Kervin had been a statistical engineer for Cilco and retired from there on May 1, 1974. She also elected to the Springfield Women Bowlers Hall of Fame in 1984. Anna was a past member of Catholic Daughters of America, and a member of St. Joseph's Home Coterie. She had been a resident St. Joseph's Home for the past nine years. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers, and six sisters. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one sister-in-law: Leona Kervin of Springfield. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home where a Wake Service will be held at 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Very Rev. Patrick Wright VF at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at St. Agnes Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Home 3306 . S. 6th Street Rd., Springfield, IL 62703-4709. The family of Anna M. Kervin is being served by Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
