Anna Marie Braaten-Hemenway Obituary

Missoula- Anna Marie Braaten-Hemenway, 92, Died February 19, 2012 of natural causes at Riverside Health Care Center. Anna was born October 19, 1919 at home and was the 9th of 13 children. She was married to her first husband and with him had 3 children, then married her husband of 61 years to Floyd Hemenway and with him, had 2 children. Anna left many good memories to 5 children, 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Anna was a hard-working woman with plenty to show for it. She loved her family and was always there when someone was in need. In her spare time, Anna loved to crochet and was almost famous for her scrubies and towels that she often sold at craft fairs. In her last few months she made many friends at Riverside Health Care center with both residents and staff. Her time on this earth is not measured in years but in the lives and hearts she has touched. Anna is loved and will be missed. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 1 pm at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
