Anna McConnell

McConnell, Anna, resides in heaven as of Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the age of 100. She was born and raised in Ellis, KS. Anna worked at Cessna for 25 years and retired in 1973. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Anna enjoyed travelling and dancing polkas and waltzes, but most of all, loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell “Mac” McConnell; children, Jerome Irion and Odetta Ford; and grandson, Joseph Irion. Anna is survived by her daughter, Chrystabelle Thiel; grandchildren, Diana (Shawn) Miller, Jana Benvenuto, Richard Schnitzler, Mike Schnitzler, and Matthew (Linda) Schnitzler; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation: 5 – 8 pm, Friday at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral: 1 pm, Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
