Annabelle "Ann" Malik, 74, of Loveland passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 in Loveland. She was born March 19, 1935 to Fred and Dorothea Harms in Haxtun, CO. Ann moved to Yuma in 1943 where the family lived until 1950 when they moved to Loveland. She attended high school in Yuma and Loveland, graduating from Loveland High in 1953. She married Ivan Malik on May 21, 1970 in Loveland. Ann worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell in Fort Collins and California for twenty years. She also worked at HP in Greeley for seven years. Ann was a past member of the Red Hat Society. She and her husband loved motorcycles and were members of the Gold Wing Club. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, traveling and camping. Ann is survived by her husband Ivan, son Sam Mohrlang of Ft. Collins and brother Thomas(Michele) Harms of Akron, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sandra and sister Marjee. A funeral service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association c/o Resthaven Funeral Home.
