Anne Shewchuk, 100, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on December 01, 2011 in Adrian, Michigan. She was born in Canada in 1911. She had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 38 years, coming from the Chicago area. She was a member of Saint Lucie Catholic Church, and The Catholic Daughters Organization.
Survivors include her sister, Emilie Weiler of Tucson, AZ; son, Robert Shewchuk of Adrian, MI; son, Bruce Shewchuk of Waukegan, IL; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Shewchuk; son, William M. Shewchuk; son, J. Dennis Shewchuk; and one grandson, Steven Shewchuk.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 07, 2011 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at the Forest Hills Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 08, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Saint Lucie Catholic Church in Port Saint Lucie. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Saint Lucie Catholic Church at 425 SW Irving Street Port Saint Lucie, FL 34983.
