May 13, 1930 – May 14, 2011
Anne Newsom, 81 of Huntsville passed away Saturday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn Newsom and son Bill Newsom.
She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Nelson and her husband Ben. Sister Margie Kalange. Three granddaughters Whitney Newsom, Jessica Nelson and Julia Nelson. Special thanks to her loving caregivers Mindi Christian, Pat Laster and Carolyn McDonald.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 Noon until 2 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Susan Sloan will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to St. Stephens’s Episcopal Church or Holmes Street United Methodist Church Building Fund.
