On Friday, October 28, 2011 of Germantown, MD. Beloved wife of John Randall Short. Daughter of Lilian Soroka and the late Steve Soroka. Sister of Stephanie (Wayne) Boyles, Margaret (Neill) Bassford and Malcolm (Cathy) Soroka. Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday at First Baptist Church of Alexandria, 2932 King St. Alexandria, VA 22302. Interment will take place in North Carolina. Memorial contributions may be made to: Montgomery Co. Humane Society, 14645 Rothgeb Dr. Rockville, MD 20850.
