Annette M. Thiboutot, 93, of Fairfield, the last of 17 children, died Tues., Aug. 28, 2012 at Inland Hospital in Waterville. She was born in Canada, Oct. 6, 1918, the daughter of George and Celina (Quirion) Rodrigue. Mrs. Thiboutot had worked on the wood production line at the former Diamond Match Company in Oakland. She was a great Mom--treated kids all the same. She loved to fly and loved music. She played a harmonica and an accordion. She was a very good seamstress and cook. Mrs. Thiboutot was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Joseph Alphonse Thiboutot who died Oct. 30, 2003; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Morneau of Waterville; and by 17 brothers and sisters. She is survived by three children, George Thiboutot of Waterville, Peter Thiboutot and wife Ann of China Village, and Cecile Thiboutot and husband Nick Logan of Fairfield; granddaughters, Katie Thiboutot of St. Paul, MN. And Sarah Thiboutot of Portland. Committal prayers and burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31 at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Sat., Sept. 1, 2012 at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville. Arrangements are with Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
