Mrs. Annie B. (Brenneman) Weicht, 90, of 12127 Blue Ridge Court, Waynesboro, and formerly of 8260 Mentzer Gap Road, Waynesboro, died at 3:10 A.M., Monday, October 17, 2011, in the emergency room of the Waynesboro Hospital. Born August 17, 1921 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Carrie (Katzel) Brenneman. She was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area. Mrs. Weicht graduated from Waynesboro High School class of 1939. She was employed as a nurse's aide at South Mountain Restoration Center, for over 15 years, retiring in 1981. Mrs. Weicht was a member of Blue Rock Church, Waynesboro, and enjoyed reading, sewing, and spending time with her son in law, Terry, and her great-grandchildren. She is survived by six children, Donald E. Stoner and his wife, Linda of Biloxi, MS, Ronald P. Stoner of Waynesboro, Bonnie A. Shirk and her husband, Jay of Hagerstown, Cindy K. Weicht of Waynesboro, Jenny R. Belknap and her husband, Randy of Lemon Grove, CA, and Sue E. Green and her husband, Terry of Waynesboro; 16 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; one brother, William Brenneman of Waynesboro; one sister Helen "Betsy" Walker of Waynesboro; Nancy Kauffman of Zullinger, PA, who she thought of as one of her daughters; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Dena F. Weicht, who died on April 28, 2000; eight sisters; and two brothers. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 21, 2011, in Blue Rock Church, 7885 Mentzer Gap Road, Waynesboro, with Rev. Greg Helman, officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday evening, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
