Annis C. Martin, 86, of Creola, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at her residence. She was born February 6, 1923, in Garrett, Kentucky, daughter of the late Royden Keith and Grace Conley. Annis was the widow of the late Salem Forrest Martin.She was a former teacher, a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in McArthur, loved her children and was an avid gardener. Annis is survived by sons, Paul Forrest Martin, Ricky Wayne (Barbara) Martin and Phillip Dane Martin all of Creola; daughters, Donna Jean (Alan) Oney of McArthur, Diana Karen (Carlos) Dutcher of Creola and Deborah Sharon Fannin of Creola; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and a sister, Maude Lee Prater of McArthur.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Shon Michael Bobb; three brothers, Malcolm, James Paul and Harold Ray Conley and two sisters, Hattie Conley and Minnie Collins.Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Monday, July 6, 2009 in the Calvary Assembly of God Church, 63849 US Highway 50, McArthur with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Interment will be in the Conley Family Cemetery, Creola. Friends may call at the Calvary Assembly of God Church on Sunday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W.
