Pawleys Island, SC Anthony Ferraro 90, died Monday August 23, 2010. Tony was born and raised in Paterson, NJ and lived in Clifton and Bridgewater before moving to Pawleys Island in 2009. He owned and operated F&F Vending Company and retired from Passaic County Maintenance Department. He was a WWII US Army veteran. Tony enjoyed the NY Yankees, College and Pro Football, Atlantic City, Italian food and family and a good joke. He was a devoted father and grandfather, brother and uncle and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Anne who died in 2007. Surviving are his 2 sons, John of Englewood, Fl and Dr. Lawrence and wife Peggy, formerly of Bridgewater, now Pawleys Island, SC,; a sister, Lena Ruggiero; 6 grandsons, Dante and wife Shannon, Luke, David and wife Mia, John and wife Maria, Nicholas and Rob; and 4 great grandchildren, Teryn, Julianna, Joseph, Nicholas. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Saturday at the Bruce C VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave. Somerville, 908-725-3111. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 52 Totowa Rd, Totowa. Visitation will be 2-4pm & 7-9pm Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
