Anthony J. Mamone, Jr., 66, a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 7 years, departed this life Tuesday, December 20, 2011.
Mr. Mamone was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Port Saint Lucie from Wellington, Florida. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army and worked as a contractor.
Mr. Mamone is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joan M. Mamone; sons, John Anthony Mamone, of Port Saint Lucie and Scott Andrew Mamone, of Port Saint Lucie; daughter, Gina Marie Guevarez, of Port Saint Lucie; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Richard C. Mamone, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, and Timothy Mamone, of Tampa, Florida.
Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 26, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes – Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port Saint Lucie.
