Anthony Paul Shedd was born in Dallas, Texas on January 31, 1962 to the parentage of Arthur and Rosie Shedd, where he grew up with the love and attention of his parents. Anthony known as "Tony" too many, he graduated in 1980 from David W. Carter H. S. where he played on the football team, he was honored in the Who's Who of America, he furthered his education at Mountain View College and DeVry Institute.

He worked as a Customer Service Representative until his health failed. He was a faithful member of The Church of the Living God, from youth to adulthood. In September 1993 re-united and April 21, 1994 married Linda Faye Griffin; Tony became a member of New Birth Baptist Church and on February 7, 2010 united with Center Pointe Baptist Church for the Communities under the leadership of Pastor James Jones.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mrs. Eddie "Mary" Carr Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife of over 17 years, Linda Shedd; parents, Arthur and Rosie Shedd; two sons, Jordan (US Nation Guards) and Terriance; four daughters, Bethany (Willie) Kemp, Tanja (Michael) Peacock, Tanisha and Tempest; three grandchildren, Andrew Kemp, Loren Wright Shedd and Jarvon; one brother, Eric (Renea) Shedd; one sister, Lorie (Charles) Ward; grandfather, Johnny Johnson, mother-in-law, Ruthie Griffin; and a host of uncle, aunts, other relatives and friends.
