Anthony S. "Tony" Johonnett passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012, in Portsmouth, NH from complications of COPD and emphysema. He was born November 18, 1960 in Exeter, NH to Vira (Homan Johonnett) Goldthwaite of Seabrook, NH and the late James S. Johonnett. He was the husband of Denise E. (Cyr) Johonnett and the father of two sons, Logan Scott Robert Johonnett of Exeter, NH and Bradley William Johonnett of Newport, TN. He graduated from Winnicunnett High School, class of 1980. He was formerly employed at Bailey Corp/Venture in Seabrook, NH and most recently at BJ's Warehouse in Portsmouth, NH. Tony loved to hunt and fish in the seacoast area. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert (Butch) Johonnett and two sisters, Laura Johonnett and Cindy (Johonnett) Beal. Besides his wife, sons and mother he leaves behind two grandchildren, Reilly Mae and Bradon Michael; two brothers, James Homan of Northwood, NH, Kevin Johonnett of Seabrook, NH and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Monday, July 30th, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM, with a funeral service at 6:30 PM at Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, NH. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Exeter Sportsman's Club Youth Fishing Derby, c/o Tom Wharton, 22 Prescott Ln., Hampton Falls, NH 03844.
