Antoinette Jackson Garrison

Funeral services for Antoinette Jackson Garrison are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Haisten Funeral Home Chapel in McDonough, Georgia. Friends may visit the family following the service. A private interment will be in McDonough. Mrs. Garrison died on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Wesley Woods in Atlanta. Born June 5, 1915 in McDonough, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Judge Robert Oscar and Nettie Thomason Jackson. She was a 1936 graduate of the University of Georgia. In 1937, she married Searcy S. Garrison, who preceded her in death on September 6, 2011. She was a devoted pastor's wife, mother and homemaker and was very active in many facets of church life. Survivors include sons, Searcy S. Garrison, Jr., Atlanta, Georgia, Warren Baker Garrison, Columbia, South Carolina, Robert Gorham (Marlene) Garrison, Thomasville, Georgia; grandchildren, Rhett Garrison, Rex Garrison, Kimberly Parker, Ashley Capps, Kristen Morrison and Kevin Dasher; five great grandchildren.
