Antonio Ortega December 11, 1949 - June 27, 2012 Antonio (Tony) Ortega of Waco passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence Soler as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation begins at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, at Brazos Funeral Home. Antonio was born December 11, 1949, in Chilton, TX to Joe C. and Frances (Torrez) Ortega. Antonio graduated from University High School in 1968 and completed both Bachelor and Master Degrees in business administration. He was director of small business development at Navarro Junior College at Corsicana. He was a loving son, father and grandfather, as well as a good friend to all he met. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Alicia Ortega. He is survived by his parents; daughter, Andrea Noel Ortega Wells and husband, Britton, of Austin; sons, Brandon Anthony Ortega and Nathan Ortega and wife, Brittaney; two grandchildren; sister, Della Kone; and niece, Kerry Sosa and husband, Paul; nephew, Kris Kone and wife, Ana; and five grand nieces and nephews.
