Antonio "Toning" Cinco, Sr.

Antonio "Toning" C. Cinco, Sr. passed away peacefully in San Francisco, California, on Monday, October 17, 2011. He was 72 years old. He was surrounded by his wife, children, sisters, brother, in-laws, nieces, and nephews at the time of his passing.

Toning was known as a joker. Even during times when he was not feeling well, he still maintained his sense of humor. Toning was also a survivor who constantly surprised his doctors. He fought long and hard against cancer in order to have more time with his family.

He was born in the Philippines and was the second to the youngest child of Andres and Clara Cinco. Throughout his youth, Toning was an avid basketball player. He continued to play basketball in leagues even as an adult. A sports lover, Toning followed many professional sports throughout the years.

Professionally, he worked as an accountant for many years for the Development Bank of the Philippines. After migrating to San Francisco in 1986 with his wife and three children, Toning continued to work in the accounting field.

After retiring, he and his wife of 41 years enjoyed traveling with friends and family.

Toning is survived by his wife, Sally Munoz Cinco; children, Tina, Nikki, and Tony; son-in-law, Gilbert; grandchildren, AJ and KC; and dogs, Shaft and Chief. He is also survived by six siblings and countless nieces and nephews.
