I am sorry this is so late. I just found out about ur mothers passing when i went to a program that the hospice had in mt.carmel. my aunt passed away and had a library built for hospice patients familys with books on how to deal with death and dying . They had a slide show presentation honoring eveyone who passed in this past year. I saw ur moms name on the slide show but didnt think it was her.

I saw ur moms name on the slide show but didnt think it was her. i am so sorry for ur loss. she was a wonderful loving woman. Her family was her everything. She lived for her husband and her kids and those grandbabies. I am one of the lucky few who has wonderful memories of April at work. Times we laughed so hard we almost cried to the meals we had at work where we would stuff ourselves till we thought we would pop. her smile lit up a room. u just couldnt help but find urself smiling along with her. It was give it ur all or just dont bother with April. She always gave her all even when she felt like crap at work u could see her still smiling. i only hope i am half the woman she was. I will never forget her.

"i am so sorry for you loss." april was there for me when i needed her the most, and threw time and moving away i lost contact. i have never forgot about her and always remember and cherish all that she did for me. she was amazing

I love u nana i miss you each and every day , but mommy showed me were to see you its in the sky at night. Nana we had so much fun together, i remember the beach and when you took me to the zoo that was fun.

Even though she wasn't feeling well she always put her co-workers and residents ahead of herself. I was most impressed when April would talk about her family. She would light up. She really looked forward to your family vacation at the beach. When she would talk about her husband you could tell there was a very special bond. She would tell us about the vacations/trips you were planning and when she returned from those vacations she was so eager to tell us what a wonderful time you had. Everything you all did together ment so much to April. She was such a wonderful person! I am going to miss her. She was an inspiration to me. I will never forget that wonderful smile!

She was the strongest person I have ever known, she suffered for many years but never let you see her pain. She would tell you she was ok when it was obviously a bad day. She believed she could win the battle and if will could beat cancer then she won. We raised our kids together, we shared so many good years with the bad, she was a mountain unmoved by circumstance, she loved everyone and everyone loved her.
