Arbor was born on July 7, 1922 and passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.

Arbor was a resident of Wilmington, North Carolina at the time of passing.

He attended public schools in Park City, Utah, the University of Utah, and Duke University Law School where he graduated in 1950.

Arbor served from 1942 until early 1946 in the US Navy and in the US Marine Corps Aviation as a fighter pilot of F4U-1 Corsair aircraft. He learned to fly at Pensacola NAS and was stationed at Cherry Point MCAS as a Captain during WWII. Aviation was his lifelong interest.

Arbor was married to Anne.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on August 6th at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 John Small Ave in Washington, NC, and will be officiated by Travis Boyd. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
