Arbutus "Bootsie" Prunesti

Arbutus "Bootsie" Prunesti, of MacArthur, formerly of Sophia, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 02, 2011. Born July 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hazel Richards Eller.
Arbutus enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She was employed as a Ward clerk and a Pharmacy Tech with ARH Hospital. Arbutus was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Sophia.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John Prunesti.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son Gary Caldwell; daughters Sherri Hopkins and Jeffrey Vanover of Stanaford, Viki Blankenship and husband Ron of Grandview. grandchildren Erin Smith and husband Mark of Stanaford, Michael Walker and Todd Walker; great-grandchild Levi Smith; sisters Bobbi Williams of MacArthur, Patty Woodie and husband James of MacArthur; brothers Bill Eller and wife Terry of FL, Roger Eller and wife Faye of NC; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Rev. Robert Carter officiating.
Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Friends may gather with the family Thursday from 4 – 6 PM at the funeral home.
