Arlene Ruth Larson, 89, of Andover, IL, died on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Trinity Terrace Park, Bettendorf, IA.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, November 10th, 2011 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home at 1301 4th Street, Orion, IL. A graveside service will immediately follow at Andover Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Trinity Halfway Hospice at Terrace Park, Bettendorf, IA.
Arlene was born on September 19, 1922 in Hudson, IA, to John L. and Violet J. (Billings) Benjamin. She was married to Otto R. Larson on November 4, 1939. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1974. Arlene was a LPN for Oak Glen nursing home in Coal Valley, IL. Arlene was a woman of Christian faith who held many interests. She loved crocheting, embroidering, working in her flower garden, and feeding her wild birds. She most especially loved spending time with her grand-dog, Molly.
