CRONIN, Arline M. 88, of Safety Harbor, passed away December 21, 2011.
Arline was born August 9, 1923 to parents Elmer and Helen Krewer in Rochester, NY. She was a longtime resident of Corning and Big Flats, NY before moving to Florida in 2005. Arline was a graduate of Northside Blodgett High School, Corning, NY, and a longtime employee of Corning, Inc.
She was a communicant of All Saints Parish, Corning, NY and Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, Safety Harbor, FL. Arline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who dedicated her time to her family and served as Den Mother and Troop Leader to her children's scout troops.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Raymond F. Cronin, sister-in-law Gloria Cronin, and brother-in-law Bernard Miller. Arline is survived by her daughter Barbara (Timothy) Wojdan of Safety Harbor, FL; son Robert Cronin of Houston, TX; grandson Michael Wojdan of the U.S. Air Force Academy; sister Phyllis Miller of Raymond, NH; nieces and nephews Diane (Alan) Anderson of Raymond, NH; Greg (Heidi) Miller of Litchfield, NH; Christopher (Kate) Miller of Webster, NH; Jennifer (Michael) Anderson of Austin, TX; several cousins; 2 great-nephews; and 1 great-niece.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home on Tuesday December 27th. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 1pm on Wednesday December 28th at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church with interment to follow in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
