We only met Mr. Davies during his trips to California but always have remembered him as an exceptionally warm, kind, and charming man. He will be deeply missed.

I will always remember "Grandpa" Davies with a huge smile every time I saw him; his kind heart and loving nature willl be forever instilled in the entire Davies family--from sons, to inlaws, to grandsons, to great grandchilren. Arnie was a dear friend from the days of Epworth League, the youth movement of the Methodist Church in the 20s and 30s. I have a number of letters he wrote back to the youth group while he was overseas during World War II. He made contact with my brother in the European war area.

I have kept in touch with Arnie and Millie over the years, and visited them about a year ago with my sister-in-law, Mickey Cromwell. She's

I have kept in touch with Arnie and Millie over the years, and visited them about a year ago with my sister-in-law, Mickey Cromwell. She's the one who read about Arnie's death in the Plain Dealer and told me. I'm sorry that transportation will keep us from being at the Memorial Service.

My condolences to Millie, who will miss him terribly. So will Lakewood Methodist Church where he has been a 'pillar' for many, many years.
