Arnold Gerald Frisby, 83, of Payson, Utah passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in Payson. He was born April 23, 1929 in Santaquin, Utah to Gerald Eddie and Camilla Horton Frisby. He grew up in Payson and graduated from Payson High School.

He served in the United States Army and retired from service after 22 years. Arnold married Betty Walker on November 21, 1991 in Orem, Utah. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering with old things, and telling stories. He also loved animals and enjoyed having them around him all of the time. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Arnold served as a temple worker for 16 years.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Walker Frisby, his children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, two brothers, and three sisters. Arnold was preceded in death by two sons, Pat Frisby and Gerald Frisby.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Payson 15th Ward Chapel, 650 West 800 South, Payson, Utah. Family and friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m on June 18, 2012 at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, and on Tuesday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Arnold's name.
