Arnold Patz Sr.
Age 76, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons, Arnold (Kathleen) of Demotte, Jeff of Lowell, Doug of Valparaiso and Jay (Jodi) of Lake Village; daughter, Denise Hahn of Cedar Lake; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; stepsons, Jeff (Edie) Straka of Crown Point, Kole (Debra) Straka of Hebron, John (Dana) Straka of Crown Point, stepdaughter, Melissa (Steve) Likas of Crown Point. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie, in 1984, and son, Richard "Dick" Patz in 2006. Arnold was retired from Carpenters Union Local # 1005 in Hobart after 42 years of service and was a collector of antique cars.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 26, at 1 p.m., at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Crown Point, IN. Pastor David Kipp officiating and cremation preceding. Friends may call at the church from 12 p.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church or St. Anthony Hospice.
