Arthur G. Parks, age 88, of Liberty Hill, Texas entered into eternal life on March 7, 2012 in Round Rock. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, in Killeen, Texas. Pastor Roy Smith will be officiating.
On May 12, 1923, Arthur was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to Arthur G. Sr. and Hazel Marie (Kegg) Parks. Arthur made a lot of instrumental decisions in his life, but his finest decision was to share the better part of his years with his loving and devoted wife, Linda C. (Mueller) Parks. Arthur tried his hand in two service oriented careers. He provided our country his devoted service of protection in the United States Air Force for over 13 years, nearly 3 of which were served in a foreign country. Arthur also served as a law enforcement official with the United States Capital Police, in Washington D.C. His choice in careers proves to be evidence of the strong moral character he possessed to serve others. Arthur will be deeply missed and we all will be forever indebted to his gallant service.
