February 19, 1955- February 1, 2011

Art Schmidt, 55, of Huntsville left us Tuesday at his residence. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Schmidt and Sharon Dewey.
He is survived by his life partner- Cathy Hardin, two stepsons and one daughter-n-law- John and Samantha Hardin and Matthew Hardin; two sisters Peggy Schmidt and Cindy Stallings and husband Ray; two nephews Parker and Grant Stallings; one niece Chelsea Stallings; Uncle Warren and Aunt Lillian Gafford; many other family members and lots of friends. We love and will miss this great partner, brother, uncle, cousin and friend for the rest of our days.
The visitation will be Thursday from 6:00p.m. till 8:00p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home. There will be a private family Service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice Family Care of Huntsville. Please sign online registry at www.valhallafunerals.com
