Ashleigh Rebecca Dodd January 7, 1988 - January 7, 2012 Ashleigh Rebecca Dodd of Riesel passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Riesel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room On the seventh of January, 1988, our family was blessed to welcome into our arms an angel of incandescent beauty and unrivaled spirit. With her came years of joy that spread like wildfire throughout those lives she touched. A natural athlete, Ashleigh was a Varsity cheerleader, All-District Varsity Basketball player, and All-State Softball player at Riesel High School. She joins in Heaven her grandfathers Charles Dean & Louis A. Dodd II, hand in hand with her best friend Callie Tullos, with whom she was inseparable. Her indelible memory will be held in the hearts of her parents, DiAnn Dodd of Franklin & Louis A. Dodd III of Riesel; her brothers Dakota Dodd and James Kellum; Sisters Savannah CheyAnn Schroeder & WayLynn Kellum; her grandmothers Barbara Dean & Janet Fell; her aunts & uncles Becky & Scott Boyer, DeAnn & Carey George, Gary and Sharon Kroll, and Genia Horn and Travis Horn; cousins, Josh Mercer, Jason Mercer and wife, Jennifer, Christina Eldredge and husband Todd, Jeff Kroll & wife Carla, Seth Posey, Matthew Charles Posey, Corey George, Tyler George, and Cameron George. She is also survived by a host of amazing friends she loved and treasured with all of her heart.
