Astrid L. Carman-Ferreira, 43, of Reading formerly of Stoneham died on Wednesday, August 1 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. Born on July 23, 1969 she was the loving daughter of George V. Carman of Reading and Heidi Kmeczik-Carman of Weston. Astrid was raised in Morristown, New York. She was a graduate of Brimmer & May High School in Newton and Colby Sawyer College. Astrid had been a Stoneham resident for 12 years. She enjoyed working and being a Co-Owner of Busy Bee Florist in Newton. In addition to her parents, Astrid is survived by her beloved husband Nelson Ferreira. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 457 Main St, Stoneham on Saturday at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements in the care of the McDonald Finnegan Funeral Home, Stoneham.
