Augusta M. “Gussie” Updegraff, 93, Liberty, Missouri died April 24, 2011 at Ashton Court, Liberty, MO. She was born in Branch, Arkansas on August 7, 1917 to Rufus and Mary Roberds. She was married and had three children. Gussie later married Kenneth Updegraff who preceded her in death on February 9, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, three sisters, a granddaughter and a step-daughter. Gussie is survived by her children, Kathern (Berton) Farr, Leavenworth, KS; Janey Farris, Washington and Irvin (Mary) Hughes, Wisconsin; one step-daughter, Joann (Charles) Nickles, Minnesota. She also had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 28 at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Liberty, MO.
