B. Vernell Jacobs, 94, of Ft. Wayne, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Born March 24, 1917 in St. Joe, IN, Vernell worked at Cover-All Rental for 16 years, retiring in 1982. She is survived by her son, Jerry T. (Kay) Jacobs of Ft. Wayne; daughter-in-law, Jula Jacobs of Churubusco, five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Vernell was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Jacobs; parents, Jesse and Violet Copp; children Steven, Allen and Diane Jacobs; and sister, Melba Gross.
