Barbara Daley Stratton, 88, Liberty, MO died April 4, 2011 at Our Lady Of Mercy Country Home after a long battle with kidney disease. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M, Friday, April 8 at Liberty Christian Church. Burial will follow at Glenridge Cemetery, Liberty. Visitation will be 6:00 – 7:30 P.M., Thursday, April 7 at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, Liberty. Memorial contributions can be made to Wilkerson Food Pantry at Liberty Christian Church or Immacolata Manor in Liberty.
Barbara, daughter of Ernest and Vivian Daley was raised in Windsor, Mo and Warrensburg, MO. She graduated from Research College of Nursing in 1947 and then worked for Dr. Hendron M.D. in Liberty. After taking time off to start a family she went to work for John M. Williams M.D. in Liberty and retired after 30 years as his head nurse. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, her husband Jim Stratton and her sister Margie Baker. She is survived by two daughters, , Kathy Hofmeister and husband John, Chesterfield, MO and Lynn Correa and husband Chris, Kansas City, MO; “Extra” daughter Cheri Braun and husband Dan, Liberty, MO; brother Jim Daley and his wife Jerry, San Diego, CA., and her beloved grandsons, Matt (Sabrina), Scott and Luke Hofmeister and Ian and Seth Correa.
