Born August 19, 1933 in Washington, DC and passed away January 26, 2012 in Dallas, TX. She is preceded in death by husband, Jerome F. Liesenfelt, Sr. and parents, Albert Earl and Elsie Dunn. Graduate of nursing school from Alexandria, VA. She is retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of TX as a senior manager. She was a member of Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church and participated in the Women's Circle. She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling around the world and meeting new people. Barbara is survived by children, Donna and Michael Anderson, Clarksville, TN, Jeff and Cindy Liesenfelt, Richardson, TX, Doyle Liesenfelt, Plano, TX, Kevin and Julie Liesenfelt, Dallas, TX Dean and Robin Liesenfelt, Plano, TX Pam Liesenfelt, and grandchildren, Tory, Kelsey, Allison, Morgan, Carson, KJ, and Miranda; sister Elizabeth Horton, Orange Park, FL. Special thanks for Dr. Phillip Arnoff for caring for our mother. Service will be held at 3pm Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Restland Abbey Chapel. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Charity of your choice.
