Graveside services for Barbara Jean “Bebee” McPherson, 79, of Lubbock will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday November 27, 2010 at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

She passed away November 24, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center.

Barbara Jean was born September 5, 1931 to James “J. B.” and Eunice McPherson in Tahoka, Texas. She married Ted Powell February 14, 1950. She worked at Bealls and Dillards for 15 years. She was a member or The Republican Party, Cub Scouts, Brownies, Girl Scouts, Zeta Tau Alpha formerly Las Vivis Sorority, Tarrant Co. Medical Auxiliary, Ft. Worth Opera Alum Museum Association, First Presbyterian Church and First United Methodist Church in Lubbock.

Survivors include; 1 Son, Robert B. Powell of Dallas; 1 Daughter, Marta Jean Stafford of Austin; 1 brother, James w. McPherson; 3 Grandchildren Whitney Stafford Larsen, Preston T. Powell and Madison Powell; 2 great grandchildren, London Larsen and Arden Larsen.
