BARBARA LEE COLEMAN COCHRANE
Was born in New York City, New York on December 16, 1932 to the late John and Gertrude Coleman. Barbara married Albert Willesly Cochrane on December 22, 1965. Barbara traveled the country with her late husband, Albert Willesly Cochrane as he served his country in the United States Air Force. They relocated to Albuquerque in the early 1970's. She worked as 1s National Bank for many years as Head Teller retiring from Bank of the West. Barbara became a member of the order of the Eastern Star in England. She served as Worthy Matron of Areme Chapter No. 12, OES and was a former member of San Hedrin Assembly No. 69, Order of the Golden Circle and Luxor Court No. 188, Daughter of isis. Barbara was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church. She served as an usher. Barbara was preceded in death by; her husband, Albert Willesly Cochrane on December 24, 2007; her mother and father and one brother. Barbara is survived by her devoted step sons, Alan and Albert of Sacramento, CA; Daughter-in-law, Arlene; Five Grandchildren; Eleven great- grandchildren; Three nephews; one best friend "Ace" her beloved dog and a host of relatives, along with friends around the world. Services will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at French Lomas Chapel. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. A special thanks and Appreciation to the Center for Prosthetic and Orthotic Design, New Mexico Oncology Hematology Consultants, LTD, St. John Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Nina at Lorenco's, Hospice Compassus, Joy Carroll, Bereavement Coordinator for Hospice Compassus, 332-0847 and her special friend that took such great care of Barbara, Thelma Kelly. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Barbara's honor to the Animal Humane of NM, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM. The Cochrane family would like to extend a warm hearted thank you to all of those who have helped serve our mother, Barbara during this time of bereavement.
