Barbara May White, 67, of Morristown, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Morristown Memorial Hospital after suffering from a long illness. Born on March 16, 1942, in Wake Forest, NC; she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ozea (Day) Pitts. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles and her brother, Charles. She is survived by her four children, Charles Jr. of Parsippany, NJ, Aaron of Statesville, NC, Christopher of Marietta, GA and Tracey of Morristown, NJ; her sister, Shirley Burroughs of Madison; daughters-in-law, Lauren and Phyllis. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher, Aaron Jr. and Brandon; Surrogate Grandmother to Senecca Davis. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She worked several years at Bell Labs and Exxon. She volunteered her time with several non-profit organizations in Morris County. Her love for her community and her tireless efforts awarded her with several recognitions that she so gracefully accepted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to: The Morristown Ambulance Service, 16 Early St., Morristown, NJ.
