Graveside services for Barbara Rampy, 82, of Lubbock will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 12, 2010 at the City of Lubbock Cemetery with Dr. Stan Blevins officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8:00 p.m.

Barbara was born December 29, 1927 in Roswell, New Mexico. She moved to Lubbock in 1936. She married Glenn Edge in Lubbock. She then married Chester Rampy June 12, 1982 in Lubbock. He passed away August 1, 2003. She worked at J. C. Penny shoe department retiring in 1976. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Berry.

She is survived by 1 son, Raymond Edge of Lubbock; 2 daughters, Brenda Wilbanks, and Jeannie Hendricks of Lubbock; 2 sisters, Wanda Butler of Lubbock and Jo Freda Davis of Ft. Worth; 1 brother, Johnny Berry of Lubbock; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
