Stambaugh, Beatrice D., 96, passed peacefully in her sleep early Monday morning. Her boundless humor, love and compassion will be sorely missed by all who knew her, but most especially her family. Not only were we happier people for having had her, but better people as well. We are saddened by her passing but thankful beyond words for the many years we knew and loved her. Hers was an enduring example of the power of faith and an abiding sense of humor. She is now where she longed to be-with God-but will always be remembered with joy by those lucky enough to have known her. She was truly one of the good ones. Beatrice is now reunited with her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert J. Stambaugh, who passed away in 1996. Left behind are son Robert, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Robert, Scott, Kari, Keith and Kelly and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, Feb. 11th at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
