Beatrice M. Curry, 77, a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 10 years, departed this life Friday, September 9th, 2011.
Mrs. Curry was born in Astoria, NY and moved to Port Saint Lucie from Patchogue, NY. She was a lector for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and a Chaplin for the American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Curry was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Henry Curry. She is survived by her sons, Brian Curry, of Sun Lakes, AZ, Dennis Curry, of Patchogue, NY, and Liam Curry, of Ireland; daughters, Ellen Curry, of Long Island, NY, and Maureen Curry, of Patchogue, NY; and 9 grandchildren.
Memorial services were held 1 p.m. Saturday, September 17, at Good Sheppard Roman Catholic Church in Holbrook, NY. Interment will be at a later date.
Arrangements under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie.
