Beatrice West, 83, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, November 17, 2011. She is survived by son, Joe (Alberta Gallegos) Murrietta of Grants, NM, son, John (Cathie) West of Sterling, VA, daughter, Nancy (Jimmy) Lister of Albuquerque, NM, daughter, Sandra Jenkins, sister, Lala (Amado) Otero, daughter-in-law, Pat Murrietta. Bea is also survived by her many dearly loved grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband of 54 years, J. C. West; son, Dennis Murrietta; her mother, Leonardita Montano, father, Luberto Montano; sister, Emily Padilla; brothers Cipriano and Julian Montano plus 4 brothers and 2 sisters who died at an early age. Bea was a gift to all who knew her. She was a loving mother, wife and friend; always kind and engaging; fun-loving, caring and generous; so full of love, laughter and song. She will remain forever in our hearts. Private Entombment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
