Ben Carfagno, 82, of Belleville, passed away Thursday July 12, 2012. Mr. Carfagno was employed by Champion Uniforms in Fords before retiring several years ago. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a demolitions and ammunitions expert attaining the rank of sergeant. Mr. Carfagno is survived by his son Gary, Steve and his wife Linda, daughter Lisa Consalvo and her husband Louis, brother John, and grandchildren Chloe, Lauren and Dominick. He was predeceased by his wife Carmela (nee Maglione), and parents Giacomo and Josephine Carfagno. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral Tuesday 8:30 am from the Megaro Memorial Home 503 Union Ave Belleville (megaromemorialhome.com). Mass 10 am Church of St. Peter Belleville. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery North Arlington.
